Herbal Shampoo Bar, Hair & Beard Oil & Herbal Hair Rinse

Herbal Shampoo Bar, Hair & Beard Oil & Herbal Hair Rinse
This bar was created for hair care, I focused on using herbs & oils for scalp & hair management. It's fine for body care as well; in fact the extra castor, coconut & jojoba oils give it a very sudsy lather. So if you need an all~in~one bar, this is perfect! There may be a transition period for 3~6 washings when switching from other shampoos to herbal shampoo bars. This is due to the chemical residue buildup from conventional hair care products. Hang in there though, the results are well worth it! It also may help for some hair/skin types to follow up with an apple cider vinegar rinse which can restore & balance pH, eliminate itchy scalp, dandruff & soften hair.

To use~Wet hair, wet soap, lather hair as usual, and rinse well. Condition as usual, if that's you're normal routine. For best results, finish with a hair rinse of apple cider vinegar and water, or you can also make 1-2 cups of your favorite herbal tea as a final rinse. Chamomile, sweetgrass, lavender and mint are nice, and the possibilities are endless!

•••Natural Hair Rinse••• 2 TBS apple cider vinegar OR 2 TBS fresh lemon juice•• 1-2 C distilled water (or herbal tea)•• 3-4 drops total of your favorite essential oil/s (optional)

Combine all ingredients in a clean squeeze bottle. SHAKE WELL BEFORE EACH USE & massage into hair and scalp after shampooing (and conditioning if you choose) Rinse with water or you can also leave this rinse in your hair if you'd like. The vinegar smell will dissipate as your hair dries.

For extra conditioning, it's best to apply the oil BEFORE shampooing. Use plain castor oil, jojoba oil, almond oil or the herbal hair oil listed here (Let It Grow!) Apply to entire scalp & length at least an hour prior to shampooing, or a small amount to ends if they are really dry.

"Your soap worked great for my dreads~ it left them clean & without any film!" Lauren, St. Louis, MO
